Michigan State will be a good road basketball team , But in that setting, the Cardinals kept it together, made big shots and enough plays.This was another reminder that, in college basketball, there’s no place like the road. This Louisville team could combust at some point this season , Michigan State started the game without its starting small forward.

Almost nothing went right for the Spartans most of the game ,

It lost its starting point guard to fouls with four minutes left in regulation. This Louisville team could combust at some point this season. But in that setting, the Cardinals kept it together, made big shots and enough plays. with a 1-for-8 start to the game. It even missed a potential late go-ahead free throw because its shooter had a swollen eye ,Then it got worse, with point guard Cassius Winston fouling , the line at the end of regulation. Those are the shots it takes to win on nights like this.Did anyone think the ACC/Big Ten Challenge was going to be easy?The response by Joshua Langford when Winston went out was telling of an understanding , pumping his fist demonstratively. The Spartans trailed by a point when Winston fouled out with 4:01 to play but managed to regain the lead and had multiple chances to put the game away in the final minute.Louisville took control late and came away with a 82-78 victory at a packed KFC Yum Center.finishing the game in an environment unlike anything they’ve seen.
